I’m watching my friends’ cats for a few days and when I pulled into the driveway today one was already hitting me with the “and what sort of time do you call this?!”

12. And if we want to talk about the politics, here's some easy math: there are a lot more voters who consume energy than there are who produce energy. If you're confused on that point, you might be a crappy pundit...

I'm sure she's working on it pretty hard and not thinking about all the post politics jobs she can get at various weapons contractors if she keeps running cover for Israel.

From the right-wing Manhattan Institute's focus group of Gen Z conservatives -- just jaw-dropping stuff. We have a very sick society. www.city-journal.org/article/manh...

These folks are being so openly and casually antisemitic, it makes me wonder if some other outlets' are sanewashing their focus groups.
I remain quite angry at the people, many of them fellow Jews, who spent so much energy worrying about leftwing campus antisemitism when it was so clearly used as a distraction from the growing acceptance of mask-off Nazism within the Republican party. So many people allowed themselves to get played.

This version of the Republican Party owns the entirety of the Spanish-language news media and has dedicated it to blaming all the world's ills on "los judios, los homosexuales y los transgéneros" so it isn't really hard to believe at all
Cannot believe this version of the Republican Party won a record number of Latino/Hispanic voters, this country is so cooked lol

So many people are convinced that rich people promote racism and sexism as a clever ploy to distract the proles from joining together against the one true enemy: wealth. Meanwhile, any time the private convos of rich people come out, it's stuff like "I hate black people and view women as sub-human."

Seems a lot like Ukrainian diplomats attempting to smear a Canadian journalist with defamatory and flimsy accusations that he might be a KGB spy with the cooperation of the Canadian Armed Forces because they don't like his reporting. A lot of people should get in a lot of trouble for this.
The story of how a Canadian intelligence operator ended up charged with spying for Ukraine has its roots in another saga - that of a Canadian journalist accused of being a Russian asset (something the journalist vociferously denies).

Feels similar to here in canada where the CIJA and similar groups treat anti Semitism as a purely left wing phenomenon and seemingly have nothing to say about right wing politicians or public figures who spread ant Jewish rhetoric or associate with fringe neo nazis. I don't think this work.
The deafening silence from the UK's "official" Jewish institutions on Nigel Farrage's antisemitism demonstrates how morally bankrupt they are. So far the Board of Deputies, JLC, chief rabbi and CST have yet to say one word. Pathetic doesn't begin to capture it.

Seems a lot more like one friend getting charged more because he kept ordering the most expensive drinks on the menu or does holyday think people who ordering beers should pay the same as the guy ordering the single malt?
Holyday closes his speech opposing a hike to the land transfer tax with an extended analogy about a group of friends going out for drinks, and then one of the friends gets charged more for their drink because they're wearing nicer clothes. He says that'd be wrong. Okay then.
