I’m glad to see Bill say this. But when after a century of just the type of abuse we saw today - relentless and cruel, ensnaring our children and intimidating our communities - young Black people said in frustration, anger, and demand for change “defund the police” - so many of you denounced them.

The reality of a police state is that most protesters will flee before police violence gets extreme. That's what Renee Good, very sensibly, was trying to do. The killer prevented her from doing so, stepped in the way to hold her there so he could kill. That's a murder state.

Agree. And even if he had been, it does not matter. He appears to have leapt in front of the car shooting. There is no use-of-force code in US under which his execution of Renee Good was justified.
This nonsense about the agent going to the hospital is fucking outrageous. We all saw the video where he crisply walked, with no discernible difficulty, at least a block to his car after firing his gun. There is no way in hell that he was injured.

Anyway, here's DHS claiming a Chicago woman rammed their car and that justified shooting her. That case was dismissed after the agent was caught bragging about the shooting.
