Am in an uber heading towards Christmas celebrations, and I wasn't paying attention to the music but I think it went from Fairytale of New York to Everybody Hurts. Whoever is programming Gold 104 today is going through it. I just sort of tuned in and was like "Wait, this is a very weird Xmas vibe"

This kid is 15, and so has a moral clarity and uprightness that no adult elected official would or could ever have. There aren't really and never have been two sides of this issue, but if it has to be argued as a binary thing I don't see how anything less than this could seem like the side to be on.

Look, I'm so happy that Dutton is gone and it's a Labor win rather than the LNP. But, to see Labor win such a majority and people turn their backs on the Greens and others pushing for *genuine* progress for social and environmental justice makes me very sad. Labor are neoliberal light. #AusVotes25

To me Rowling exists entirely outside of the “should we support/work with artists with troubling views?” debate. She doesn’t just *think* her opinions, she doesn’t just *say* them, she’s a relentless 24-7 activist whose whole mission in life is terrorizing trans people.
