Norwegian PM Støre says Trump repeatedly raises—complains about, pleads for, and demands—the Nobel Peace Prize every time they meet. Støre gives same answer each time: decision is made independently by Norwegian Nobel Committee, with no role for Norwegian gov—a concept Trump appears unable to grasp.

the funny thing about these lectures, which i would love to give this person a bullhorn to yell in minneapolis right now, is that a harris administration would have kept increasing funding for ICE despite the certainty a right wing president was eventually going to inherit it. we tied our own noose

I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

The hunger strikers have ended their 73-day strike after forcing the cancellation of Elbit’s £2 billion contract. This is a people-powered victory—but it comes at a horrific, lifelong cost.

Abducting a baby and giving it a bruise on the cheek.

Flashbanging a car full of kids, including a 6 month old.

They better fucking hope we only stop at “Abolish ICE”

Actually I'm not even sure it will make the images invisible in the UK. AIUI the geoblock only applies to image creation, not to viewing images created elsewhere.
BBC report at a headline level that Grok will now not make sexually exploitative images any more. An actual reporter comes on and explains that it will do no such thing, and will just make the images invisible in the UK. These are two very, very different things.
