Not really sure how you can see Evelyn Normielib (D, Texas) setting fire to a facility that might have the possibility of becoming an ICE concentration camp and despair about how Dem primary voters are gonna pick Gavin "We are Charlie Kirk" Newsom as the nominee

I need folks to understand this. The idea that local police forces will intervene at scale against ICE is a utopian fantasy totally disconnected from how policing has always worked
Police departments across the US are quietly leveraging school district security cameras to assist Donald Trump’s mass immigration enforcement campaign, an investigation by @the74.bsky.social reveals.

This is so much worse than what took down Nixon, difference was that then the media did not like Nixon and wasn't trying to help him and today the media is controlled by the Epstein-Oligarch class and so is part of the same conspiracy that Trump is and buries it
This is crazy — why is Pam Bondi *defiantly* awarding privilege to an email that was only between Jeff Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell, about Donald Trump’s relationship with Epstein? www.youtube.com/shorts/eAbuj...

Love that the High Court ruled that prescribing Palestine Action as a terrorist group was unlawful but as they also ruled the ban must remain in place until a future hearing, the BBC must remind its reader that expressing support for them will get you arrested.

random thing that popped into my head while watching the Noah Gervas reivew of POE 1, 2 and Avowed: When the game came out, people dinged it for "not having evil choices" which...is a wild thing to say in a game where you can arrest a woman for buying contraceptives

The fact Wes Streeting was warned by his own officials that the toxicity of Palantir made the contract less likely to succeed raises, yet again, the question why Government granted it the contract in the first place?

Blades '68 is a great prompt to talk about great #TTRPG cities! Cities are complicated to bring to the game table because they are so dense and complex, so cause and effect get scattered out through the whole...

The updated Doskvol in Blades '68 shows how robust the original design is...

It's 968 AC.
An artificial sun shines down upon Doskvol. Autopods cruise down rows of peaceful, prosperous houses. Beneath it all, strange actors and twisted conspiracies work their shadowy agendas.

there was another game that sold very well at launch that did not review amazingly... you may know it as... Cyberpunk 2077!!!

i hope that people now recognize that it is a great game (IMO) but that its reputation at launch was not fantastic.

It's weird because I think anyone involved in a creative enterprise would feel unfairly judged if the quality of their output were assumed to be the result of laziness/lack of care.

It's okay to say something is bad, but you likely have no idea why it wound up that way! Maybe I'm just incompetent!
I am too mature to get mad if people don't like a game I like, but one launch review of FNV had as its opening sentence "the devs phoned this game in and did not give a fuck" and it makes steam come out of my ears to this day
