Also the cozy outfits are getting snazzier. I fly for work and I see all these perfectly coiffed femme folks in what amounts to cashmere pj sets. Anyway, if I’m on a 4+ hour flight I am darned well not wearing hard pants. Try making the seats and aisles bigger. That will improve civility greatly.
Having gotten yelled at on a United flight in first class for changing to more comfortable clothes TO GO TO SLEEP, I wish to communicate the firmest possible go fuck yourself to dress codes in a deeply uncomfortable environment & experience.

For some reason I'm thinking of the two huge dudes who showed up to my local parish a couple years back. We'd just opened an overnight shelter there and there had been protests elsewhere, people standing outside yelling shit so migrants couldn't sleep, etc.

#uspoli I've been thinking lately about how the political situation in the US will not be better for a very, very long time. You can't spend decades only in crisis mode; you'll die of that. So we all need to balance working for the common good and living good lives. We only get one life.
