Yeah, the "Stanley" gimmick was trite. But, OMG, these were talented musicians and songwriters. Album full of bangers and some experimental stuff that was interesting and well done

In college, i had a friend who would now and then go buy a case of PBR, stick them all in a backback, and then just wander the library at night handing them out. He would simply say "study beer" and hand you one, even if you were a complete stranger. So don't tell me angels aren't real

Hate to be so cliché but Metallica at Hara Arena in April 1989, before they sold their souls to be Bob Rock's edgy pop band. So intense, so passionate. No lame ballads. No radio cuts. The Cult was a 🔥 and underrated opener.
