I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff

A lovely Neolithic knife - with its wooden handle - from a site with houses built on stilts on marshy land in Germany. Usually, the wooden part rots away and we just have the blade. This makes so much more sense!

This is Dorothy. She was pregnant with a single puppy and needed an emergency C-section. Tragically, her puppy didn't survive. The same day, five puppies were surrendered to her rescue, and she stepped up for them. Help us cover this loving mama's emergency care below ❤️🩹

One of these days we're gonna have to reckon with the fact that "money that I spend which does not directly benefit me is a waste" is a popular sentiment.
I think we should state plainly that this is selfish on its face.
And stupid when you have awareness which extends beyond your nose.
