Broadly agree, but I challenge the word 'negotiations'. Yes, talk to Putin - but explain that he can't win, & that whatever the US does, as long as Ukraine wants to defend itself, Europe will help & will increase the econ & mil pressure on RU. Don't imply compromise - to Putin, that means weakness.
The whole "people say we can't talk to Putin" thing increasingly feels like a straw man. Is anyone here actually opposed to negotiations? Western leaders practically begged Putin not to invade. Zelensky would sit down with Putin tomorrow if he agreed to meet outside Russia

The problem with Streeting (aside from all the other problems with Streeting) is that he appears to want to be PM purely for the fact of being PM as a win & of in itself. It’s hard to detect any kind of sincere ideology, or even ideas really, other than whatever he thinks will get him there.
I was talking to a Labour MP the other day who said it would be easier to get behind Wes if he could just mask his ambition a little bit...
