Have you noticed ICE is consistently using suppressors (silencers) on their rifles?

Why are ICE agents using suppressors and battering rams to arrest old men and nonviolent people in broad daylight? This is for maximum effect imo.

and if hanania genuinely wants grace, rather than mere toleration, then he needs to renounce his white supremacism and belief in the biological inferiority of nonwhites and make amends and restitution for the actual harm he has inflicted on other people through his disgraceful “work”

Waking up and thinking that they should have given the Nobel Peace Prize to Jose Andres, and had they done so, maybe we wouldn't be in, like, half of this fucking mess.

Establishment Dems responding to the threatened annexation of Greenland by messaging about cost of living issues really don’t understand that to Europeans it looks like they either don’t see this as a crisis or are tacitly in favor of it. 1/x

This is 100% correct and the EU should do it immediately.

The USA will break if a bunch of entitled Americans suddenly can’t book get-aways in Paris.
90 day suspension of US tourist visas and this is all over

ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.

Here is the most important rule in politics:

If you want a thing just push for the thing.

All the rules about how you are not allowed to do that are made up and designed to prevent you from pushing for the thing.

The key question in US civil society isn’t “Do you like Trump?”

It’s “Do you acknowledge that Trump is a psychologically unstable criminal and bully whose existence creates a crisis?”

Problem is, while many of our institutions answer “no” to the first, they virtually all answer “no” to the second
I've harped on congressional war powers for a long time and we do need to fix all that, but threatening to invade Greenland while ranting at Norway about the Nobel Peace Prize and imposing trade sanctions on NATO is more the kind of thing you can only fix by not having a literally insane president.

This is the sixth death in ICE custody in 18 days. This isn’t enforcement, it’s a system that cages people, outsources care, and shrugs when they die. Abolish ICE.

NOEM IS LYING. I have seen people get taken! It was the same each time: armed men racing out of a blacked-out SUV, seizing a screaming or fleeing pedestrian, and pulling them into the car without any attempt to even learn their identity. Always a person alone on the street. Always a person of color.

Can you even hear yourself, man? Do you not have any self-respect left at this point?
Bessent on Greenland: "Peace through strength. Make it part of the US and there will not be a conflict because the US right now, we're the hottest country in the world, we're the strongest country in the world. Europeans project weakness. The US projects strength."

A big part of the "ICE and Border Patrol guys could never make it in the military or a real police force" rhetoric is just cope that allows folks to keep pretending that cops and military don't have large numbers of violent, sociopathic toolbags themselves. They do.

'Clockhouse Road, Winter.' (1957)
Denis Lucas was a British figurative painter strongly influenced by the dark urban scenes of Walter Sickert. The place in the title of this work most likely refers to Clockhouse Road in Beckenham, now in Greater London but once in Kent.
