Although many people are saying it, I do not believe our current president sucked off former president Bill Clinton on camera. I have not seen sufficient evidence that our current president gave the former president a blowie in a way that was memorialized in a photo. That's not something I believe.

The 26ft clear road width requirement from the US model fire code, Appendix D:

Not only making road diets ineffective and brownfield redevelopment boring and car-centric, but now also being used to prevent construction of taller, safer buildings on streets that don't comply.

This rule needs to go.
The good news: Portland is opting into Oregon's optional 4-story single-stair code section.

The bad news: Portland's fire marshal has managed to insert a poison pill into what appeared to be a take-it-or-leave-it appendix text, likely making it unusable in most cases.

Portland’s new single-staircase rule faces big hurdles
The city now allows single-staircase buildings as tall as four stories, but a fire access rule may make most projects unbuildable, one designer warns.

Important to remember in DC “housing policy” means cheaper mortgages. There’s a reason that oversight of housing is in financial services in the house. Technical issues like zoning, building codes, and fire safety features have been ignored on the national level.
DC is so funny. What housing policy expertise does Summers possess exactly? Lmao
NEW: Before the recent Epstein disclosures, Larry Summers was poised to lead the economic policy plank for the Democrats' "Project 2029" effort at the Center for American Progress. He signed off on a housing policy paper CAP was prepping for next week.

JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Apparently the traffic engineers in my city think that traffic enforcement cameras are "big brother watching" "your freedoms." I disagree!
Let's install traffic enforcement cameras to automatically generate violation notices! They work 24/7 and don't endanger enforcement officers!
