Happy Kwanzaa, Wisconsin!

The principles of collective responsibility, economic care, and unity are a model of community we should all strive to emulate.

I hope that all who observe have a meaningful holiday. One that honors the beauty of African American culture and heritage.

The president was accused of multiple rapes of 14 year old girls as well as multiple murders of their babies and we’re all just acting like it doesn’t matter because CBS and CNN haven’t weighed in yet.

It was an unforgivable dereliction of duty that the majority of elected congressional Republican office holders were not in prison for open insurrection by March 2021.
I think it’s a reflection of their own attitudes. Both Biden and they were trying to live in a fantasy where those 4 years were a return to normalcy as opposed to the most urgent moment in American history to preserve what was left of democracy.

So, what Bari Weiss has essentially done here is generate enormous interest in a segment she attempted to censor, only for that segment to be shared worldwide within 24 hours of her suppression attempt because of her incompetence.

Amazing work.
Bari Weiss is so incompetent at leading CBS News that her efforts at fully suppressing the 60 Minutes segment on CECOT was foiled because she wasn't aware (or forgot) that the broadcast package including that segment was distributed via a streaming app for broadcast in Canada.

It's 2025, and we're sharing bootleg 60 Minutes segments broadcast in other countries because our own country is being run by fascists and their billionaire-owned state media helpers, just as the Founding Fathers intended, of course.

The Trump supporter who runs CBS news just killed a story about Trump’s favorite torture prison. Here’s why America has a liberal media bias problem.

Whether it's a low-level Biden staffer asking Facebook to correct some COVID misinformation or Donald Trump's right-hand man telling CBS to kill segment about ICE sending people to torture prisons, both sides have sought to limit free expression.

Asking this seriously: has Bari Weiss ever in her career reported out an investigative story?

The news organization said the segment about the El Salvador prison where the Trump administration sent deportees needed additional reporting.

I'm old enough to remember when people who attempted the violent overthrow of the government were not called "Conservatives" and people who advocated for the health insurance the rest of the 1st world uses were not called "Radicals"
I am old enough to remember when the GOP complained about government handouts

The Democratic party is a fundraising grift, not an opposition party, and Trump is VERY good for fundraising. Impeaching him would be good for the country but bad for the grift.
Pelosi says there's not "cause" or "reason" to impeach Trump, even if Dems retake the House in 2026!?

How out of touch can you possibly be??

Every time an elected Dem who hasn't done anything to stop Trump sends out a message "look at this terrible thing that Trump has done, someone should stop him," it makes me more likely to vote DSA next year.
Everything is getting more expensive, and working people are feeling the squeeze.

Trump is dismissing our reality as a “democratic hoax.” The American people are not stupid.

Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).
