Also, MIT is highly incentivized to be at the forefront of tech. (Monetarily, people-wise, reputationally.) So if they're pointing out that there's a real problem with a fancy gee-whiz technology everyone's adopting, it's important to listen.

Someone should make a Dark Forces sequel, but make it like an immersive sim, like a Dishonored or Deus Ex, a mix of stealth and action, and it's Star Wars so it's blasters and lightsabers and force powers. "Someone" is me, I should make that game. Someone should give me money to make that game.

It's kinda mindbending seeing so many people act like timed hits/defence being the invention of Clair Obscur, when it was THE cornerstone of the Mario RPG series starting back in 1996, and probably used in some earlier games too.

Weird all big budget games take forever to make, it surely can't have anything to do with horrible project managers, or the fact most AAA studios ping pong contractors they fire on yearly cycles to avoid having to provide benefits of any kind causing them to waste a ton of time retraining workers.
