Even if he does it is worth resisting! I find all the talk of whether Trump’s power is legitimate baffling, honestly. He’s a straightforward authoritarian! The main reason to push back is all of the stuff he is going to do, not how his vote total stacks up to previous presidents.

Exactly. Because of the way we talk about them, people think of the Nazis as inherently evil and therefore something which we could never be capable of emulating, but in reality, most people could eventually end up doing the same things if they accepted the same core beliefs.
I would love for people to internalize that there wasn't a core of metaphysical evil at the heart of every Nazi that is lacking in us. They were just people who absorbed a set of beliefs and picked a few facts and acted on those things. Evil isn't a state of being. It's in the banality of it all.

Just had a sample of the Eaton Fire ash that is in my driveway run on the department XRF. Is there titanium (new house paint)? Yup. Lead (old house paint)? You betcha. Heavy metals? Check. Treat that ash like it's toxic folks (because it is)
