Queers and allies.

1) support trans kids
2) get cookies
3) profit.

Let's make this kid a cookie legend.

Disabled people deserve to be believed and supported without hate. We deserve to be able to thrive.

Over the next few months, we're gonna see some queer/trans folks go back into the closet/detransition for their own safety, especially in rural areas. This is not the same as assimilation or compliance, and these folks are not "traitors." This is camouflage. This is strategy.

For cis folks who maybe don't get how bad it is:

Here's the map.

Red or Orange? There's at least a half a dozen laws that attack trans rights ranging from Healthcare bans to risking being arrested for "drag near kids" by being in public.

Dark green? Basic human protections.

That's the reality.

When you are travelling this week, please wear a mask! Aside from the many potential long term health impacts viruses can cause, it really sucks to be sick over the holidays. One of the best ways to protect yourself and others is by wearing a high quality mask!

Just give people money.

It will reduce suffering.

Full stop.
The results from the world’s largest Universal Basic Income study are now in. Findings:

“A monthly UBI empowered recipients and did not create idleness. They invested, became more entrepreneurial, and earned more. The common concern of “laziness” never materialized.”

Money always helps, but for the poorest, one large lump sum can last a long time. A long-term universal basic income also looks promising.

I know it’s said ad nauseam, but the crux of the liberal brain is decorum above everything, but especially decorum to me, specifically, some rando on the internet demanding you outline all of your personal solutions to an international crisis.
I’m sorry, are you under the impression that people can’t help Palestinians and insult you at the same time?
