If Vingegaard doesn’t attack right now, he’s giving up any chance to gap Pogacar. You aren’t putting over 4’00” on Pogacar in 8.5kms unless you’re on a motorcycle.

Pogačar just sat on Jonas’ wheel the whole day, looming just behind him for hours. He didn’t have to attack there in the last 500 meters, he just wanted Jonas to know he could have gapped him at any point on the final climb. Just a stone cold killer move.
