I am very fortunate to live in the Twin Cities where a wide variety of cultures, including the large Somali community, make this such a fascinating and beautiful place to be.

There is a direct correlation between how fake your job is and how much value you see in AI
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

OK. I don't know why I did this, but I wrote up my run down of what I see as the condition of Saint Paul and then why I choose to support Mayor Carter

Thoughts on the Saint Paul Mayoral Race
I originally wrote this to get some thoughts down and then thought, why the hell does anyone care what I think? And I don't know if anyone cares about my thoughts but I wrote them anyway.

One persuasive argument for supporting a ranked choice voting system (which Minneapolis voters overwhelmingly approved at the ballot box in 2006) is that it encourages candidates to focus on common ISSUES rather than on personalities.

In that respect, it’s working—much to the chagrin of Frey & Co.
Haven't really seen flopsweat from Frey’s campaign, but deploying top surrogate Steve Cramer to attack @jazzformayor.bsky.social & @dewayneforminneapolis.com when Frey‘s worked to keep it a Fateh-only race indicates RCV strategy has rattled them. Cramer’s letter; my response (sent to Strib).

Not perfect, but the team looks much more cohesive when fullbacks are doing fullback stuff and attacking players are inside instead of galaxy brain inverted ball progression stuff and attackers are pinned to the touchlines
