Cannot be stressed enough that Black trans women were immediately sidelined in the early 2020s. Just pushed out of the convo immediately, even though transmisogynoir has always been an emergency and Black trans women are disproportionately targeted

We do not need trans holidays that use words like resilience and visibility and awareness.
We need trans liberation and trans bodily autonomy.
That means equal rights across the board. Class protection, access to medical care, the ability to update our documents, participation in sport.

I’m 5.5 weeks into 12 weeks of being on crutches. Tonight the people I live with all went out, so I ate cheesy popcorn for dinner and crutched around the house for 20 min singing along to my fave Taylor playlist at the top of my lungs. I think I’ve concerned the cat.

Bingo. The only problem I have with being trans is the way cis people treat me. I would never go back and I regret absolutely nothing besides not doing it sooner.
despite all the fear mongering about trans people and the attempts to abandon and actively harm us from both political parties in the US, transitioning is still the greatest decision i’ve ever made, only regret i have is not doing it younger, and that it has only made my life infinitely better
