A decade ago, the executive director of a MN nonprofit I worked at wisely told me: “Before you write something, ask if you would want that on a billboard.”

I’ve sometimes fallen short, but it’s something I try to stay true to.
Mother of the year award probably not going to this woman.
For context, the video that has gone viral.

Holly Andreatta is the Mayor of Lincoln, CA and is currently running for Supervisor.

She chose to parrot TPUSA talking points, but she dragged her poor daughter into the story to make her point and push the propaganda-claims it’s “love and understanding”

The US Administration has banned Americans from *adopting babies* from much of the African continent.

Adopting.

Babies.

What trait do those babies have that, when they grow up as fully American adults, would make them a threat to our country in any form?
On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

That was an article I guess. ICE wouldn’t have let them be interviewed unless they were 100% true believers of life in the secret police.

Ahmed al Ahmed, the man who tackled one of the Bondi killers, became an Australian citizen 3 years ago.

His deed was "his way of conveying his gratitude for staying in Australia, for being granted citizenship."

He took 5 bullets, and fears he'll lose his left arm.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's son was pulled over by ICE and forced to prove he is an American.

Two options:

1) ICE deliberately targeted him.

2) ICE is stopping all non-White people without any probable cause and forcing them to prove they are citizens.

Hard to say which option is scarier.

Part of the Chanukah tradition is to place the light menorah either outside or in a window where outsiders can see it. This is supposed to advertise the miracle of Chanukah. These days, it is also a way of saying, “This is a Jewish home.”

Every year I think about how it is also an act of bravery.

Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!
