Having grown up in SW Iowa (Omaha media market) in the 80s and 90s, I never would’ve believed that the Hawkeyes could dominate the Huskers for over a decade. It’s almost not a big deal anymore.

We are now further away from the theatrical release of Raiders of the Lost Ark (June 12, 1981) than it was from the year it takes place in (1936). We have reached the Indiana Jones event horizon.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

this dummy has one ever had one toy he cared about—pooh bear—until we lost it about a year and a half ago. it took him another six months before he landed on gumby. well, we found pooh behind some furniture, and now whenever he’s in the room with both he loses his mind and just starts whimpering.

I haven't gone deep on investigating this, but I'm fairly certain that Iowa is the only Power 5 school that has never paid a buyout to a head football coach. They haven't fired a coach since Bump Elliott canned Bob Commings in 1978.
