Sure, but hot take, we SHOULD have people in our lives who don't get mad if we ask stupid questions or forget things and who verbally appreciate our suggestions and observations. Key word: PEOPLE. But it sounds like this guy doesn't, and that's maybe the problem

I think we're all being really unfair to Butthead, he might not be as anxious as Beavis but that's just because he never had the opportunity to develop a moral compass
When Butthead makes jokes about Beavis’ mom, Beavis is very quick to notice an emotional harm because his worldview, although warped, is based within standing norms of society. He has been led into a place of darkness by Butthead, a purely malevolent creature not unlike the Judge in Blood Meridian
