You can feel like something is inevitable and still experience shock. Many of us knew something like this would happen, bc things like this have already happened, bc law enforcement functions with impunity, bc ICE kept drawing its guns on observers. But emotional and moral shock can still occur.

I deleted all the food apps from my phone and disabled or deleted all associated accounts where I was able to do so. What a stupid thing to be addicted to but I swear to go those apps are designed to prey on people like me (small amount of disposable income and struggle to feed myself)
