There's a prompt asking "What was your biggest impact on the internet?" So:

Twenty years ago, a certain word filter was implemented on a certain forum. It became so ubiquitous, there's a good chance you've seen it more than once today.

I didn't implement the filter, but I did suggest the word.

This remains "the one that got away" of my DC collection. I drooled over the online trailers' localization, but it never appeared at any store near me by the time the DC market was drying up.
this was an incredible game, btw. actual controls and gameplay were fairly average, but you need to understand that most gundam games up to this point were TERRIBLE. and the story and localization were top-notch!! i would LOVE a White Dingo Team OVA series.

Essentially, I think that LLM-generated dialogue only makes sense if you believe that the product of writing is words.

But the product of writing isn't words, any more than the product of justice is prisoners, or the product of love is weddings. The product of writing is meaning.

Kids think anime has to be about getting isekai’d into a dragon harem or whatever. They don’t know that anime can be about cool things, like smoking and crime.

If you're talking about North American anime fandom, and you try to argue that Robotech was not an essential work in its era, you are repeating a fallacy

Criticize the work or HG - we all do. But without Robotech, there is no anime industry or press as we know it, and a greatly diminished fandom.

The USPS is NOT a private company; and the USPS losses are not indicative of its inability to do its mission, rather more the fault of its terrible Trump appointed leader, Louis DeJoy.
🚨SCOOP: Amazon is preparing to sever ties with USPS and expand its shipping network as a true coast-to-coast rival.

It could cost USPS more than *$6 billion* a year in lost revenue, and lead Amazon to dominate yet another facet of the economy.

USPS posted a *$9 billion* loss in 2025.

Just so everyone who hasn't read the article throw blame around, Grasshopper has no involvement with this at all. No idea why GungHo/SUPERTRICK thought a sequel to the only modestly successful Let It Die needed to be Vibe Coded and thus risk sinking their reps forever, but that's their problem.
The Let it Die sequel - Let it Die: Inferno - which is coming out next week (4th December), seems to have been built using a considerable amount of generative AI. https://bit.ly/4ol7lIA

this is ALSO why my top advice for younger people is:

Remember everything that happened during COVID lockdowns, during the Gaza War, etc. because we are twenty years out from tons of people trying to retcon these things to fit their agenda. Do not let them do that.
