I rode down to the street floor and went out on the steps of the City Hall. It was a cool day and very clear. You could see a long way—but not as far as Tiny Tim had gone.
Tiny Tim's feet are light and nimble. He never sleeps. He says that he will never die. He dances in light and in shadow and he is a great favorite. He never sleeps, Tiny Tim. He is dancing, dancing. He says that he will never die.
And Timy Tim, standing on the gallows uttered his final words:

"My fortune is yours for the taking, but you'll have to find it first. I left everything I owned in One Piece."

Those Words he spoke drove countless men out to sea. And so men set sights on the Grand Line, in pursuit of their dreams…

And with strange aeons even Tiny Tim may die.

I keep seeing regular Americans taking more risks every day to fight tyranny, want, and cynicism than I see from the opposition party, and I imagine many of those regular Americans are asking themselves what the value proposition of such an opposition party is, really

Understandably the Weapons-ed kids were upset after their weeks of basement captivity; however, that’s no excuse for pulling their tormentor apart in a yard like warm bread when the justice system provides ample avenues for redress.

Young citizens should learn to pass laws NOT seize justice.

like how little do you think of americans that “daily videos of masked men terrorizing children and tearing families apart” is an issue you don’t touch because you think you’re going to lose on it. that’s insane
again find it bizarre that national dem leaders avoid the topic of ICE even on here but have time to congratulate an unpopular former speaker on their retirement from insider trading at 85

"World's first potential trillionaire has killed 600,000 people, including 400,000 children" is the only headline that anyone should ever read about Elon Musk
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc
The Shutdown of U.S.A.I.D. Has Already Killed Hundreds of Thousands

"Centrists" need to call Mamdani a "radical leftist" so they can say Trump/Farage fascism is just the opposing side of an equally matched "both sides" conflict

But Mamdani is just a middle of the road, European social democrat

And "centrists" - ie centre-right and right - are simply pro-fascism.
BBC Radio 4 this morning joined Trump in describing Zohran Mamdani as a "radical leftist".

This is an incredible level of enthusiasm for a candidate that was not endorsed by national Democratic party leadership, with policies and a message tailored to working people. It's also a stark referendum on the centrist party wing that's beholden to third-way consultants and corporate donors.

This is a landslide. The last NYC mayoral candidate to clear 1 million votes was John Lindsay—over 50 years ago. It will be dismissed by pundits saying it can only happen in New York. That's garbage. Think pledging to freeze rent and offer childcare won't resonate in Nevada? Wisconsin? Texas?

The public-facing side of American conservative politics more or less amounts to crashing out constantly about a bunch of shit that either you or the weird liars you listen to uncritically have made up. The non-public part, from what we've seen of the chat logs and such, is somehow much worse.

#Greece's government, led by PM K. Mitsotakis, has been exercising its authoritarian tendencies for years and as all similar players, they are trying to say it's them or chaos. A poll is now asking this exactly. Mitsotakis or chaos. 30% still chose him but a 42% voted for chaos...

The lib desire to correct the record, to argue honestly in terms their opponent doesn't even believe in has driven me insane watching it for the last 3 decades. They don't care about family or science or the laws of government or even the religions they pretend to believe in stop falling for it.
