The fascist turn in this country doesn’t purely come from MAGA. It’s in the blue cities that purge the homeless. It’s in TERF politics. It’s in the belief in a “strong border” just with slightly more due process. It’s the disdain for red states full of disenfranchised people.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

except that when I see trans girls get to have a girlhood, I'm besides myself with joy

Two immigration lawyers in Massachusetts have been sent notices from the Department of Homeland Security saying they need to self-deport within the next week, despite the fact that both are U.S. citizens.“Do not attempt to remain in the United States — the federal government will find you,” it says.
