Hadn't realised lots of trusts were no longer prescribing gluten-free food for coeliac kids.

My son is coeliac and his food is so much more expensive. We don't get on prescription because we can afford it but for a family in poverty that's a massive issue.

Clinicians warn of ‘shocking levels of ignorance’ over ‘cruel and risky’ decision to cut gluten-free prescriptions

Infuriating and self defeating (speaking as the parent of a coeliac kid).

Not even the worst part of it. Is he saying that all scumbags are immigrants, or all immigrants are scumbags?

I know plenty of politicians 'working classify' their backgrounds, but this from Jenrick is taking the piss.

His father's linked in is here: uk.linkedin.com/in/bill-jenr...

He was a managing accountant who ended up as the Managing Director of Cannon Industries

Far from being a distant colleague, insiders told Byline Times that Reform's former Welsh leader, convicted of bribery, was a close Farage aide and worked on the Kremlin's plan to crush Ukraine

An excellent point. The terms migrant, refugee etc are being used to dehumanise

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

Interesting. As Tory defectors continue to move to Reform, will it dilute the party’s appeal? After all, these are the same people who brought us the ‘austerity’ disaster in the first place.

Racist rhetoric has dire consequences.

Raping a young woman in a ‘racially aggravated attack’ speaks volumes about the far right’s “claims” to care about women & girls’ safety.

Those fronting up far right politics know it’s just a pretence for their own hateful agenda.

Ah, yes, 13 September. 53rd anniversary of French hypermarket Carrefour encroaching onto UK soil by opening a flagship store in Caerphilly. Obviously

Not all that remarkable in itself, perhaps, but its 6th birthday was one to remember – what with the 40ft, three-ton animatronic gorilla and all
A large flat 1970s building, unremarkable and beige. Oh, in front of it, there’s a 40ft black gorilla with a huge, toothy mouth, open in a roar. One of its arms is raised to its hip, the other held out in front of it. There is someone sitting in the left hand, with their back to us

Annoyed to only learn about this now, having somehow missed it at the time! We used to do a Friday night shop at ‘Carrfours’ (Saturday was Co-op or Tescos in town). You could get a French stick in there in a long paper bag, which I loved.

The BBC are constantly fawning over Farage's every move despite Reform only having four MPs. Our national broadcaster should reflect the whole country, not just one man’s ego.
