My son is coeliac and his food is so much more expensive. We don't get on prescription because we can afford it but for a family in poverty that's a massive issue.

Annoyed to only learn about this now, having somehow missed it at the time! We used to do a Friday night shop at ‘Carrfours’ (Saturday was Co-op or Tescos in town). You could get a French stick in there in a long paper bag, which I loved.
