Enjoyable mezcales as of late. Lalocura “reserva especial” coyote from the maestro Lalo Angeles. 18 year old agaves, distilled in clay pots. Sanzekan, a co-op of producers from Guerrero. This is a zacatoro— super lactic with lots of chocolate and leather.

Time Out Market in Union square an absolute ghost town. Lori Jayne and Taqueria El Chato both already gone. As someone who has been approached about these opportunities, the number don’t work and I can’t understand how businesses are still saying yes.
