“Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” is the best wall of sound production, because it doesn’t go all out during the verses but when it does, wow. The piano hammering its way to the front of the mix at the end? Sometimes more is more.

Westminster Colorado's mayoral race may say more than just how one city voted. David DeMott, linked to the Three Percenters, lost in a city with a long conservative history. The result raises a broader question about whether voters are rejecting far-right movements.

I said roughly ten percent of the things I could have said about Rob Reiner.
Remembering Rob Reiner, who made movies for people who love them
The movies Reiner directed, from A Few Good Men to The Princess Bride, weren't just good — they were people's favorites, the types of films people come back to again and again.

It’s so rare that you can read something and go “No one has ever used that word better than that sentence.” But surely no one has ever used the word “unwittingly” better than the poster for the movie The Day of the Dolphin.

just thinking about the first time i met Dr. Goodall. I was at the Dallas Zoo and ran into her out of the blue. I told her I was a huge fan and I'll never forget her response: "I am not Jane Goodall. I'm not even a woman. Please stop shaking my hand."

that's just how Jane was, incredibly humble.
