DONALD TRUMP: [asleep, drooling on long red tie]

SENATE DEMOCRATS: fine, we give in

It really does seem like there's a decent chance that these senators screwed us because they don't want their personal Thanksgiving plans to be disrupted.
Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

This is the Western Alaska animal nonprofit working to rescue the pets in Kipnuk.

The residents of Kipnuk are under a mandatory evac order but can not bring their pets with them. Supporting this group will help with charter aircraft, etc.

After spending 43 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, evidence hidden by the prosecution reversed his conviction. Rather than finally enjoying freedom, ICE abducted him for deportation

For any Catholic, the sight of a Eucharistic Procession being turned away at the gates of the destination is the embodiment of Jesus being denied entrance. You don't have to be Catholic to get the symbolism in that!

Republicans are the enemy. They espouse white supremacy and ethnic cleansing in the name of their bloat king. They'd gladly lock you away, or worse. Self proclaimed nazis support them. Keep thinking not fighting them will work. It's gone so well so far
Republicans are not “Nazis.”
Democrats are not “evil.”

Democrats are not responsible for the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Republicans are not responsible for the murder of Melissa Hortman.

Opponents are not enemies. We’re Americans.

Everyone who can and who cares about this country has the obligation to mock these fucking dorks until the end. They cant stand being made fun of. It saps their power. It is kryptonite to them

it kills me knowing what’s needed is for people to double down on bucking any demands for “civility” because they understand these demands are training people to surveil & snitch on their neighbors and an exploit to intensify authoritarian control over our thoughts.

Destroy this thing. It leads to nothing but misery
I got the complaint in the horrific OpenAI self harm case the the NY Times reported today

This is way way worse even than the NYT article makes it out to be

OpenAI absolutely deserves to be run out of business

Jay Leno is a good example of someone whose opinions I think just do not need to be news. He has gone off to live with his money, and every now and then he says something uninteresting that sounds exactly like what you would say if nothing you saw happening in the world mattered to you.

the thing that the next dem candidate for president will have to understand and have to explain is that this court, with these powers, will not let a democratic president or a democratic majority govern, and that president and that majority will have to respond accordingly.
the court during the first administration was bad enough, but whereas by the end of it, i wanted it reformed, now, in the second administration, i want it fucking destroyed
if/when dems take the senate again, they need to take a hammer and tong to this court and tear it apart piece by piece

I’ve known Robert Prevost for years as one of the main figures in online TMNT fandom, where no one has a bad word to say about him. He probably won’t have as much time to contribute to Turtles wikis with his new gig but I though his choice of “Pope Leo” was a lovely nod to the community

you used to have to stand in a line and talk to a human being to print a physical ticket to go inside and wait in line so someone could tear the ticket. and none of that incurred a "booking fee"
