I hear from people who are surprised I'm still talking about ICE, they thought they'd withdrawn from MN.

No, they have not. In some respects they've escalated.

Some asked why MN is a target. Are there are there a lot more illegals or criminals here?

No, it's not about that. It's about a grudge.

My estimate of US Conservative media literacy is heavily influenced by exposure to my parents, who think “Hallelujah” is a religious song and walked out of “Chicago” because it was glorifying deception and immorality.

ICE is not broken. It's agents murdering people, taking trophies of victims, using illegal tactics, breaking laws, spreading terror, exploiting children, and leaving death cards are not isolated events, outliers, or accidents. ICE is operating exactly as intended.

🚨Status Coup News just ended their Livestream in Minneapolis. They said that the ICE raids have NOT slowed down at all. They are documenting them daily. We cannot listen to Tom Homan when he feeds us the illusion that they are stepping back at all. We must keep the pressure HIGH on ICE.

This is what public service is supposed to be about.
I was just denied entry to the Dilley detention facility while my constituent, seven-year-old Diana, remains inside.

What kind of sick, horrific conditions are children being forced to endure in there?

I will be back tomorrow. Accountability can’t wait.

ICE activity has not noticeably tapered off yet here and in fact this week they seem to be focused on terrorizing kids at bus stops and schools.
yes, there are no real signs of any big change in DHS activity here yet. In Chicago there really was after Bovino left and they basically ended "Midway Blitz" not so here so far.
I don’t know, declaring victory in MN seems premature. They’re still arresting people and brutalizing the community. The changes appear—so far—to be cosmetic

Stephen Miller acknowledges a “possible breach of protocol” before Alex Pretti’s shooting.

Come on! That’s not it. The agency is performing exactly as designed.

Miller set a quota for ICE arrests and impossible hiring targets. Kristi Noem set low standards for qualifications to meet the quota.

Naming someone is not doxxing. They aren’t undercover. They aren’t intelligence agents overseas. This is outrageous - we are supposed to be a free Republic and these people want an authoritarian police state. Lawsuits should be filed & ranking Dems in Congress should act.

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

Someone made $400K by predicting Maduro's capture. Here's what happened
The winnings come as the rules governing prediction markets are still evolving.

This is the choice that those with power have made—

This is the life they want for our children and us.

It will continue until we change who is in power or how power functions here.
so far tonight msnbc has interviewed two students from brown university that are also survivors of separate high school shootings.

I am genuinely offended? That absolutely NONE of the manmade horrors we face are beyond my comprehension. The technologies erupting are a little outré but none of the technologies themselves are inherently horrific. All of the horrors themselves are predictable and from like 1950 at the *latest.*

This clip is really bad. Absolutely hollow. But important to remember also that as this tech becomes "better" and more advanced, simply it being "bad" isn't going to cut it as a rhetorical argument. Slop like this must be opposed because it's fundamentally anti-human, regardless of "quality"
The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.

Whenever local government reviews the library budget and asks, "Why should we give you money?"

We want the library to be able to say, "Because we provide a valuable service used by many people!"

Libraries are like muscles, using them more makes them stronger. 💪
Anybody who is like “Piracy is activism!”—trust me, supporting your local library is about 1000% more effective activism, and it’s still free for you and authors still get paid!
