So far the only people I've seen who do mention a concrete benefit of genAI in their work are software devs who know how to parse the output buuut they also admit it's going to ruin the junior pipeline however, "got mine, fuck 'em"

The most annoying thing about genAI is that eventually the genAI proponents are going to get to the end of the novelty of it, realize its limitations, and then claim to be the innovators of doing things the long way without genAI. Call it "slow productivity" or something.

This and the discussion about how academics can now just read AI summaries of things really drives home how much these guys always confuse the product for the goal. You don't do a coloring sheet because you want to have a colored sheet at the end!!! The coloring is the point!!!

The thing I'm abit worried about, having just finished two investing and trading courses, is that all lines are about to go down soon.
In a watchlist they've given us, almost all of the tickers are not in an upward trend and therefore not something we should buy, as we've been taught.
