english allows for really fuckoff complicated syllables that very few other languages would let slide. like "strengths". that's one syllable. eight sounds, one vowel. one syllable. consonants clustered way too close to each other. Unforgivable.
i think it's kinda fucked up we let the english language get away with whatever's happening at the end of words like "ghosts"

The two biggest pieces of advice I give to young women in my work is
1- Always prioritize feeling safe over being nice
2- Attention from older guys feels nice but it actually says nothing about our maturity and everything about their immaturity.
