On the one hand, anything to distract from reports of his increasingly well-documented, lifelong racism.
On the other, if he's told some donors this (& the FT will have sourced this properly) you can be sure that he'd've told others the polar opposite if he thought that's what they wanted to hear.
FT Exclusive: The Reform UK leader told donors he expects a deal or merger between his party and the Conservatives ahead of the next general election, suggesting he does not believe he can sweep to power alone. on.ft.com/44xlHi0

Two houses on the same street, both with drives.

Yet just one of them reduces flood risk, retards heatwaves, and lights up the neighbourhood with welcoming greenery.

We’ve lost millions of front gardens to overpaving in recent decades. We need to reverse that trend urgently.

Portugal legalised drug use in 2000.

Since then drug deaths, crime, addiction and imprisonment have all decreased.

It is people like Carole Malone who are killing people with their war on drugs nonsense.

It has been 50 years, it doesn't work.

If PM had intervened Badenoch would be complaining that the independence of the DPP had been compromised. PM did absolutely the right thing. Case collapsed precisely as he explained - on the Tories watch, because of their failure to update legislation. LoTO should be apologising. Not doubling down.

No one in the GOP Hitler chat was a "kid"
We checked. Sorry, JD Vance.

I'm only half-joking when I say that maybe this is the way to tackle older Faragist men: Get a smart attractive younger woman to listen to them and then charmingly point out why they're wrong.

Q: This has been reported for a while. Cory Mills was accused of beating a girlfriend in his DC apt. Are you concerned about these allegations?

JOHNSON: You have to ask Rep. Mills about that. He's been a faithful colleague. I don't know the details. Let's talk about things that are really serious

There is no need for a moral panic about the UK's welfare system.

Far from perfect but recent discourse is nuts

This tweet has been doing the rounds on Twitter now that Nathan Gill has pleaded guilty.

If only someone had tried to investigate UKIP & Russian interference 🧐

There’s another timeline where the Guardian supported me, doubled down on the investigation & I look 5 years younger ..

Glad to see Nigel Farage has finally remembered Nathan Gill, former leader of Reform in Wales - found guilty of taking bribes from Russia.

Maybe he'll now remember how much he took from Putin's propaganda broadcaster Russia Today for all his TV appearances when he was a MEP?
