I am once again reminding you all that the UK government introduced an Online Safety Act that is effectively a porn ban on most adult porn websites, but is dithering over banning a website that is actually creating child porn.

“gostava de perceber por que fiz aquelas declarações, não consigo explicar o que me passou pela cabeça”, disse hoje cotrim.

isto deve ser a pior frase de sempre de um candidato presidencial. sim, vamos eleger como presidente uma pessoa que não sabe o que diz e por que o diz. parece boa ideia.

This should be the baseline energy from every Democrat. This should be the least angry they ever get to be. This should be the nicest language they ever use in reference to Republicans. If you can't do *at least* this, retire or get yourself retired.
AOC: I want everybody to understand that the cuts to your health care are what’s paying for this. You get screwed over to pay a bunch of thugs in the street that are shooting mothers in the face.

/2 This will be grotesque. Edward R. Murrow didn’t have a radio show in 1946 where Eisenhower debated Göring about whether the Nazis had some good points. Today’s media would absolutely do that. Today’s media will platform people defending and rewriting Good’s murder for years.

the only reason "abolish ICE" is seen as radical is that no one will say it but the far left. if every normie Democrat started saying it tomorrow it would move the overton window so far you'd have to squint to find it. my kingdom for leaders who understand they can shape public opinion.
Democrats officially going all in on the mealy mouthed “ICE needs training” narrative.

No. ABOLISH ICE.
WARNER: It used to take 5 to 6 months to get trained. They've now lowered the training period to 47 days. Why 47 days? Because Donald Trump's the 47th president. Tell me that's a rational approach

KERNEN: I'm not taking that bait

I’m not going to say this is probable cause for a search warrant to search Tim Sweeney’s hard drives for child porn, but I mean it’s several long strides in that direction.
This is a wild hill to die on for someone who creates environments for kids.

Just to drill this a little deeper:

A married couple just dropped their kid off at daycare. The highest levels of US government would have you believe that they then went into some kind of unhinged lesbian blood-frenzy and decided to drive their toy-filled SUV into as many ICE officers as possible.
Homan: "We gotta stop the hateful rhetoric. Saying this officer is a murderer is dangerous. It's just ridiculous. It's gonna infuriate people more which means there's gonna be more incidents like this."

I broke the story yesterday that masked ICE agents (not DOJ) were removing items including a personal computer from the home of Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who shot Renee Good. I have yet to see a single news outlet cover this or an elected official even acknowledge it.
NEW: These are ICE agents removing evidence from the shooter's home. They are not DOJ, they are Jonathan Ross's friends and coworkers, not DOJ.

This agent removing Ross's personal computer was reported yesterday Jan 9 for boxing in a volunteer and telling them "I'll dedicate my next arrest to you"

Yup.

This is one of the classic examples of how racism costs you money. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Over-focus on who you think is shoplifting (Black men), means that you also under-focus on who your own data shows is doing most of the shoplifting (white women).

🙂🙃

And yes, this isn't "race." This is "racism."
Nobody steals more shit than white girls. Nobody. They do it for fun. It's like a rite of passage.

Know I should ignore this bozo but his stuff is instructive. For TCW et al the move is always the same: ignore material reality & the world of politics/power to steer "debate" back to...debate: to a morally vacant middle where they pose as Serious Thought Thinkers surveying crazies on both sides

Generative A.I. models require an insane amount of existing work to create anything that looks new and decent. Categorizing said data would take years.
