All joking aside, this legitimately unacceptable @crunchyroll.com. Subtitles for on-screen text should be the default feature regardlesss of whatever language track you're watching, and this is important context that dub viewers are missing out on because you couldn't be bothered to add them

I just saw someone saying an MA in translation is shutting down, which is a shame because (I kid you not) "we need people to evaluate AI output."
If I was told I could pay thousands of dollars to develop a difficult skill only to waste those skills on fixing slop I wouldn't want to do an MA either.

I assume this is mostly going to be used for languages that they don't think matter but uhh i would not want to give netflix my money if they were machine translating into my language
