we wrote about this WH tactic recently. they’re asking journalists for expert source names and then using them to look up political donations in FEC records to try to discredit those sources as biased.

-Even 21% of Republicans disapprove.
But what struck me most: Just 15% strongly approve, compared to 38% who strongly disapprove.

I’ll go a step further: if you are a tenured professor in a red state who assumes that your job will still exist in 36 months, then I’m torn between admiring your optimism and scorning your naïveté.

At this point, I would not bet on blue staters being safe!

I know there are tenured professors out there who breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that the A&M firing happened to a non-tenure-track faculty member. It’s going to come for you too, so maybe this is a good moment to do unto others etc.

Independents oppose it by 61-34.

Trump's overall approval on crime is cratering at 42-54.
