We run a monthly D&D live event at the bar. The demographics skew HEAVILY in the direction of “not cis straight white guys.” And those of us that are there understand that the TTRPG landscape is soooooo much better off for that fact.
Another one I see all the time in tabletop roleplaying. All demographic info we have right now points to about an even split between genders (with a not insignificant number of nonbinary players). Yet you still get dudes who say women don't play RPGs.
