i know the intent was to play nier then nier automata and feel overwhelming emotion when you get to the copied library. but as someone who played nier automata and then og nier after, when you get to the original library in the opening of that game, it's still a fall to your knees and pray moment.

i don't hate the opening premise of space cops sending samus a voicemail saying "a bunch of our goons are dead on some weird planet" and she thinks "i bet there's something cool down there to find and/or kill" but yeah, the only good space cop is a mummified-by-metroids space cop

Finding out Metroid Prime 4 has a bumbling, comic relief sidekick that looks like this. It has maybe never been more over.

All I (brandon) can say is: If you like music, you're gonna want to check this out. I keep thinking Kurt can't get any better but he keeps going over the top. This soundtrack sounds like many things you've heard and also nothing you've heard, and that's exactly the vibe we're going for.
