NEW: Gregory Bovino is exactly who E.B. White — author of 'Charlotte's Web' — warned us about.

DHS named its North Carolina anti-immigrant effort "Operation Charlotte's Web." In 1940, White wrote of the "smell" that "rises" from those who "adjust to fascism" over freedom.

It is sort of funny that “least concern” is an official conservation category. we looked into it and you can go fucking ham on these guys, kill as many as you want, it’s fine, there’s tons of ‘em.

Friends Trump is raising the tariff rate from 10% to 15%. He is the raising not lowering the tariff. And there is no “deal.” He’s unilaterally, illegally and unconstitutionally putting a massive, unwanted tariff on goods imported from Europe.

JUST IN: Trump had most recently threatened tariffs of 30% on imports from the European Union. But on Sunday, he met with the president of the European Commission, and they agreed to a lower level.

Our Supreme Court of partisan hacks has finally decided that it's too burdensome to write pages of disingenuous rationalizations for their opinions and increasingly just saying "Because I said so"
BREAKING: The Supreme Court allows the Trump administration to move forward with the abolition of the Department of Education. It gives no explanation for its order. All three liberals dissent. www.documentcloud.org/documents/25...

The primary interest of billionaires is protecting the set of policy failures that made it possible for them to become billionaires.
Sure. I'm open minded. I'm capable of having discussions with anyone and then coming to my own conclusions.

I'm also capable of not jumping to conclusions before having those conversations

And I enjoy having those conversations because they put me in a position to learn specifics
@mcuban.bsky.social it's being said on Threads that you are in support of Elon Musk's America Party, and he has your support. Would you please comment on that?

Bit of a sign of a conservative-warped media how "cities are hellscapes" is a central part of the American political discourse when... plainly they're not! Americans pay a huge premium for smaller apartments/homes to live in/near them! Lots of people really like them!
I live in LA, not NYC, but I just want to say how refreshing it is to see big city politicians who give big cities the love. We LOVE our cities and we'd die for them. That's why we all live here
On Friday night, we walked the length of Manhattan, from Inwood Hill to Battery Park.

New Yorkers deserve a Mayor they can see, hear, even yell at. The city is in the streets.

Union Jack is a good flag in terms of design, pretty iconic, but it is funny how they straight up left Wales out because it didn’t fit in. “It’s crosses, blue, white, and red. Crosses, blue, white, and red. It works, it’s simple, it’s clean, WE’RE NOT DOING THE FUCKING DRAGON”

right-wingers will often say that America deserves credit for ending slavery rather than blame for having slavery. but then we made a holiday to commemorate the end of slavery and they still got mad, which should tell you what their real objection is.

It’s a failure of journalism to do shit like this. Donald Trump has said that something will happen “within two weeks” at least 5,000 times in the past decade with easily over 4,900 of those “deadlines” passing with no action.

I want to just extend a message of solidarity with trans Americans today. (As a gay man, I'm repulsed when people expect they can divide me from others who are LGBTQ, thinking I may be chasing respectability or mainstream in a way they can leverage to have me lash out against others. Firmly, no.)
