The gun taken by the agent appears to match the general appearance of the firearm shared online by DHS, and which they said was Pretti’s. This agent’s back is turned from the scene with the gun in his hand when the first shot occurs.

The pain and the outrage is correct and just and I'm glad everyone can see and understand it here, and this is also already what BLM was, if you argued for training, police reform or body cams instead of abolition this is what you sounded like, this is why people were so mad at you

ICE Asks Companies About ‘Ad Tech and Big Data’ Tools It Could Use in Investigations
A new federal filing from ICE demonstrates how commercial tools are increasingly being considered by the government for law enforcement and surveillance.

Tobias Kinter Bencosme, 44, of Miami, FL, is an ICE Supervisory Detention Agent who participated in the illegal home invasion and kidnapping of an elderly American citizen in St Paul, MN on 1/18/2026. Bencosme dragged the Hmong grandfather outside in the frigid air wearing only boxers and a blanket.

Border Patrol agents are very sad that everyone in Minnesota hates them.

“At each gas station where the agents stopped to use the restroom, groups of agitators appeared, yelled at them, stalked them, and even tried to prevent law enforcement vehicles from leaving…”

Trafficking the boy after using him as bait, pinning someone in the snow to spray into their mask, shooting Marimar Martinez, murdering Renee Good—Bovino and Miller are asserting the right to harm anyone they want. The only acceptable response is to make sure they can no longer harm anyone at all.

Federal agents pinned a man to the ground in south Minneapolis and sprayed him with chemical irritants directly in the face.

Minnesota Star Tribune photographer Rich Tsong-Taatarii did not witness the man put his hands on agents.

Yes it’s cold in Minnesota—but we embrace it. John and I were in Hastings with Mayor Fasbender for Hockey Day Minnesota to watch my alma mater, Wayzata High School, take on Rogers. Photo taken with parents right after their son scored a goal!

Yes, build your world so you thrive in it.
But also build it so it will keep going after you.
So it thrives.

Build redundant networks.
Write down things only you know.

There is a legit general strike in the entire state of Minnesota on Friday. The first in an entire US state. The AFL-CIO and dozens of unions are involved.

All power to the workers. Fuck the Gestapo.
Dear neighbor,

I’m joining faith leaders, union representatives and community members who are calling for a Day of Truth and Freedom on Friday, January 23, 2026.

This will be a general strike in Minnesota (no work, school, or shopping) in support of our immigrant neighbors. 1/

This is important and, also, not not new. There were reports of this in LA, Portland, and Chicago, at least, as well.
Just so people outside of MN know - a lot of the US citizens getting “arrested” by ICE never get processed at Whipple. They are roughed up during the arrest and then often dropped off miles from where they were picked up. It means we don’t know the true scale of what ICE is doing based on ICE stats

I broke the story yesterday that masked ICE agents (not DOJ) were removing items including a personal computer from the home of Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who shot Renee Good. I have yet to see a single news outlet cover this or an elected official even acknowledge it.
NEW: These are ICE agents removing evidence from the shooter's home. They are not DOJ, they are Jonathan Ross's friends and coworkers, not DOJ.

This agent removing Ross's personal computer was reported yesterday Jan 9 for boxing in a volunteer and telling them "I'll dedicate my next arrest to you"

The evidence is increasingly pointing to the probability that an ICE agent killed a woman after misreading her as a threat because he was distracted by his simultaneous effort to record her so he could upload her image to a facial recognition database.
We've analysed this video of the shooting of Renee Nicole Good yesterday in Minneapolis frame-by-frame to highlight the positioning of the gun and phone in the ICE agent's hands.

This is a good time to learn about what sort of clothing you might want to wear to a demonstration, how to protect yourself and others from chemical weapons, proper digital security and security culture, direct action tactics, etc.

We will find that our only safety lies in danger. If we run then it will still catch us, though when it does we will be alone and exhausted. But if we turn and face it immediately we will find that it is still weak and timid and we will find that we do not stand alone.
