Police are not going to arrest or punish ICE. Human beings have to do it.
The past couple days have made it clear that arresting and prosecuting Johnathan Ross isn’t just the right thing to do, it is necessary to prevent future violence by ICE who have interpreted the situation as “we can do that to whoever we want”
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."

The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"

"Learned what?" she asks

Then he knocks her phone out of her hand

I don't know why people keep doing this. It is degenerate behaviour and I sincerely hate everyone who continues to do it.
Reporting on the discourse over on Twitter is like taking minutes during a meeting of white nationalists. Weird hobby, please do not share with the rest of the group.

Our President is threatening a war with a country that will never be a threat to us for reasons that even he doesn't understand, and the news treats it with all of the gravity of a puff piece on back-to-school clothes.

Genuinely, don't sleep on that. It seems like a joke but this year was shit. The fact you're still here is because you're a winner.

Serious thing for folks to consider is, particularly for marginalized people, Grudges Are Self-Defense. What you may be interpreting as pettiness is probably closer aligned to "You have demonstrated you're not to be trusted." And knowing who REALLY has your back is more important that ever.
I feel in my bones that the wave has started to crash back in and Certain People/Companies who thought they were safe to abandon everyone they’d been pretending to care about will suddenly realize that those people have money/power and I, for one, will be holding a grudge until the end of time 💜

I'm very upset that nobody told me that you can buy nail polish at pharmacies on sale for like, $4. I thought I was getting a bargain ordering Zoya for $7.20 a bottle on sale from Ulta.

Trans women, you have failed me 😞 What is community for if not to prevent this? 🏳️‍⚧️💔

While it's unbelievable behavior, I think that the explanation is actually pretty simple and obvious: Conservatism is defined by never having to consider how your actions affect anyone else in any way.
i do find it a fascinating assumption rightwingers are making that they should be able to walk into any daycare center and observe random peoples children whenever they want

One of the most incredible shots I've ever gotten, in Yellowstone. This coyote walked over a ridge in the blowing snow and posed for me, with a small grin on its face, the snowfalkes like stars in the background.

The desolation and beauty of life and nature is grounding, and so good for the soul.

The fact that the number is much higher than seven is unavoidable no matter how you approach this - the sheer number of people being rounded up, the conditions, the obsfucation and secrecy, the violent bigotry from the people kidnapping and imprisoning them...

This is our Holocaust.
Officially, seven people have died in ICE detention this month. Thinking about the way the Trump admin vanishes both people and data, I suspect the real number is higher.
December Was Deadliest Month in Deadliest Year in ICE Custody Deaths
There has been an alarming spike in immigrants dying while in ICE detention during the Trump administration.

Relatives of mine laugh at all of the other team's conspiracy theories, but are dead serious that the NFL is determined to screw over the Minnesota Vikings.
every fan in every sport seems to believe the league they watch most closely has uniquely bad referees who are worse than they were at some unspecified point in the past

A thing to remember is that this happens a lot and the reason cops aren't better at this is that they very rarely have to be.

you guys are my friends, all fifty however many thousand of you, so i’ll tell yall that mattie’s book was beautifully drawn and deeply moving. you won’t be able to put it down, and once you finish it maybe you’ll do what i did and look back over the art on all your favorite pages
to be candid for a moment!! it’s been like pulling teeth to get coverage of this thing – it doesn’t have a tidy elevator pitch and critical outlets are rapidly disappearing (and quietly covering trans books less). anyway so if you read and liked it i’d very much appreciate you telling a friend 🖤🖤

The one year anniversary of Yoon's failed martial law takeover just passed and lots of untold stories came out proving that THE ONLY REASON KOREA IS STILL A FREE COUNTRY IS BECAUSE PEOPLE DISOBEYED ILLEGAL ORDERS.

The coup was over in hours because people said no.

This was known before he ran the first time 🤷 There was never any excuse, people in this country love pedophiles even more than they love claiming to hate pedophiles.
it’s kind of insane it came out that the president might be one of the most notable pedophiles in modern history and he’s just still the president

ANYWAY

Buy from small businesses
Buy from independent creators
Buy passion projects
Buy commissions
Buy art

In a society that's decided that money is final word, be aware of where yours goes and to support what

Yes it sucks, I don't like it either, but pretending it's not a thing does not help!
