Younger folks around here might shocked to learn that once upon a time Bill Clinton let a few campaign donors have a sleepover at the White House & the national media spent months treating it as the greatest scandal in the history of the republic
President Trump is quite literally selling seats to a private dinner and White House tours to foreign nationals for $4 million+ a piece.

Much of the money goes into his own pocket.

This is corruption to the highest degree.

On the right, the former leader of Al Qaeda with a $10m US bounty on his head.

And in the middle, the most corrupt US President in history.

No anthem played over Red Square today can cover the sound of justice coming.

Today, on Europe Day, a special tribunal for the Crime of Aggression is launched in Lviv.

Justice for Ukraine begins to take shape.

Justice is the foundation of a long-lasting peace.

What Trump learned long ago as a private citizen is that you can easily ruin someone’s life with frivolous litigation even if you ultimately lose in court. And that was when he was spending his own money to harass and intimidate people. Now he’s spending yours.

To say legacy media is not built for this moment is a gross understatement. The people destroying this country are being treated with respect.
NPR Morning Edition had Steve Bannon on yesterday, and PBS News Hour has Chris Rufo on right now. What the fuck is wrong with you??? What possible reason is there to platform these lying assholes???

Good for house Dems
Holy crap. Here are 91 pages of letters that 14 House Democrats just sent to the nine law firms that have paid off Trump to not attack them.

Lots of Qs aimed at sorting out if they violated federal bribery/anti-fraud/racketeering laws. min.house.gov/sites/evo-su...

This is an unelected oil executive now calling the shots for America’s public lands. No Senate vote. No accountability. Just a signature and the quiet handoff of power to Musk’s inner circle. This is what authoritarianism looks like, buried in bureaucracy.

The ability to self-curate and read only what you like is why Americans are awash in info but so poorly informed. It's kind of like the way college kids go online, order books based on titles from the school library, and pick them up at the desk. They never see the stacks or explore other books.

Anyone debating or analyzing Kilmar Abrego Garcia's life or record is doing a grave disservice.

He could be El Chapo. He could be Charles Manson. He could be the Dalai Lama.

It doesn't matter. What has happened to him and others is clearly a violation of America's core laws and principles.

I don't understand why the judges in all the cases against DOGE's actions at various agencies don't put Musk and Kliger and everyone else under oath, demand they produce an org chart, employment agreements, etc etc. It's completely opaque and the judiciary is sleepwalking around the critical Qs.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

A new moment for the Democratic Party. The emerging fault line isn't about ideology, or age, or diversity — it's action vs. passivity. Who is able to use their platform to break through and rally voters against Trump's agenda. Liberal and moderate Dems are unified in wanting more of that.
