3/ If there is doubt/disagreement about interpretation surely a conversation at the least is necessary. It may just give certainty for the next 100 years or until the language is once again archaic.

2/ Over time language develops & therefore interpretation can vary dramatically. E.g. it was written in Hansard that Maori had ceded sovereignty to Britain & so the British understood that to mean they were rulers. The language is now archaic & people believe it to mean different things. cont on 3/

Why do we tax pensions? We've paid tax on the money we have earned which contributes to our pension but then are taxed again when we want to benefit from those savings. Thats what they are - savings.
