The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

It’s so cool that every website is just Like This now. We used to send guys to the chair for putting pop-up ads on their sites. Now if I want to read something I have to read single lines between autoplaying video ads that use so much RAM they force the browser to reload every 5 seconds.

Dex is quoting Tim Walz here, and, yeah, what's happening now is a great example of why the half-measures of the ACA didn't work and we need to move to Medicare for All like every other civilized country.
He just said we need to move to universal health care in 2028 when we retake the presidency.

Hokay Tim you surprised me there.

We have officially hit the “papers!” phase.
Bovino, the man overseeing mass deportations, publicly declared that we must all have our papers on us, at all times, or we could be stopped, harassed, kidnapped, and detained, as they did with the man in this case, who is a US citizen.

honestly, if i were trying to design a place for the political opposition to take a stand against trump, i couldn't have done better than abrego garcia. by trying to destroy basic constitutional protections, it was *trump* who made this a dispute over due process and the Constitution.

there are pundits who will say that immigration is trump's strongest issue and that picking fights around immigration helps him on the margins. but i think this misunderstands the way public opinion works, as evidenced by trump's declining fortunes on his handling of immigration.
