The MAGA regime says they will create a 4-day athletic event called “Patriot Games” which will feature one man and one woman from each state and territory.

Instead of making healthcare affordable, they’re wasting millions on a Hunger Games version of American Gladiators.

Today, Trump declared that the nation will host the first-ever “Patriot Games,” an “unprecedented four-day athletic event” featuring high school athletes, one boy and one girl, from each state and territory.

If you think this sounds like The Hunger Games, you're not alone.
Trump just announced his own Hunger Games
In case you needed a reminder that we're living in a fascist hellscape.

FOX: If you cut something by 100%, the cost goes down to 0. If you cut it by 600%, the drug companies are actually paying you

LUTNICK: What he's saying is if a drug was $100 and you bring it down to $13, it's down 7 times

F: Not a 600% cut

L: But it's 700% higher price before. It's down 700% now

Forget about the nonsense stories like the Kennedy Center being renamed or whatever Bari Weiss is doing

At least 3,800 immigrant children were detained in 2025. Now, kids are not supposed to be kept more than 20 days

At least 1,300 of them have been held longer than 20 days-some for over 4 months

Just for those who may be a little confused: “Pro-life” would be 20 Sandy Hook students being college sophomores this year.

had a hunch and looked into best in show, one of the funniest movies of all time, and yes, of course, obviously, it came out of the production company co-founded by rob reiner
Rob Reiner had a hand in writing, producing, directing, knowing a guy, pairing up talents, punching up a script on the down low, doing a cameo for like so much of the funniest shit coming out of Hollywood the last 50 years. His influence is seen everywhere

I interviewed Rob Reiner as one of the bonuses for the @criterion.bsky.social BluRay of SPINAL TAP. We talked for an hour about the movie and his career and then they shut off the cameras and we talked about movies for another hour. A delightful, unhurried genius.

Shocked by the awful death of Rob Reiner. I spoke with him for over an hour last night. We talked about his work and his plans for the future. I always enjoyed his company. We met at his Dad's in 1975. Last thing he said to me was "See you next year.." Such a terrible end. Such a sweet man.

This is one of those times when all of the bad news just sucks the air out of your lungs.

He's also responsible for raising all the money that paid for bringing Hollingsworth v. Perry & even more importantly Bostic v. Schaefer, which created the circuit split that forced SCOTUS to take on Obergefell v. Hodges. The role he played in American marriage equality cannot be overstated.
The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

What a horrifying weekend of news. Too much.

A beautuful thread about Rob Reiner.
I’m just going to tell the story. Back in 2000 I was volunteering for the Gore campaign when he came along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Alfre Woodard and Dule Hill to a GOTV event here in MN. He ended up sitting down across from me stuffing his envelopes.

The run that Rob Reiner went on between 1984 and 1992 is one of the most amazing hot streaks any director has ever had. Legendary stuff

A brutal blow for the Green Bay Packers as ESPN is reporting edge rusher Micah Parsons suffered a torn ACL in his left knee against the Broncos. Green Bay is already without Tucker Kraft and Devonte Wyatt this season. Elgton Jenkins is also on IR. Read more: tinyurl.com/3tk77v75

With the Packers loss to the Broncos, the Bears are back in first-place in the NFC North.

Bears will be the 2 seed in the NFC going into Week 16 and facing Green Bay again this upcoming Saturday night, December 20. The winner of that game will be in first-place in the division.

I got to interact with Rob Reiner a bit in 2020. Aside from being a Hollywood icon, he was so kind and full of joy.

Truly a loss for all of us. Sending big hugs to his family and friends.

To be clear, we confirmed with a representative that this was Neeson.

But they chose not to give us a comment on record.
