There were *so many* of these this year! And, like, there's 800 games to judge, sifting through it all to try and uncover the gens only to constantly be running into 5 minute demos that barely contain any actual gameplay is supremely frustrating.
blog post boiling within me titled "indie publishers, you need to get your shit together" based on this year of indie pubs submitting games to IGF w/ a demo and then when asked for a dev build so anyone can actually judge it, either ghost or go "we will provide you with a build on the release date"

So. To recap. Discord, a company NOT included in Australia's social media age restriction law, had its age verification partner breached and leaked around 68,000 Australian PII details. Even though it isn't included in the ban. Which hasn't started yet. Such a great start before we've even started.
