This is sovcit posting. This is a preamble to an assertion that you don’t have to pay child support
I regret to inform you there’s a new post telling us we’re rubes who’ve missed the obvious & clear meaning of the Const’n for a century.

This is the type of post you make when your goal is to juice engagement from those who want nothing more than to be told their policy goals are const’l commands.

The dumbest shit I see on here and Twitter and basically everywhere is the idea that Arab American Christians don't care about Gaza or Lebanon. Do the people who say that know literally anything about Gaza or Lebanon, or anything about Arabs?

...I'm tired of the posts mocking Erika Kirk with the "her husband just died" captions. Grief is weird as fuck and it's awful. She's a Christian Nationalist with horrific ideas, talk about those, stop being so fucking weird about her in that way.

Julie K. Brown is a reporter for the Miami Herald who did groundbreaking work on Epstein beginning in 2018, including groundbreaking work on the disgusting coverup by Alex Acosta.

Her travel itinerary was released with some of the Epstein files. It appears the DOJ was monitoring her in 2019.

I have an older white male friend who has told men 'confirming' my baseball knowledge "she's forgotten more than I ever knew".... seems to be the only way to avoid an unsolicited quiz.
Have I not yet proven my knowledge??? What the fuck else do I need to do???

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has stated that the 1918 flu pandemic was caused by a lab virus from vaccine research, a defective influenza vaccine. Let’s analyze what a lie this is. First, in 1918, 107 years ago, virology was in its infancy

South Texas homebuilders say ICE arrests have slowed work
More than 380 people attended an impromptu meeting that industry leaders in the Rio Grande Valley hosted to draw attention to the chilling effect ICE arrests have had on construction.

frankly a very weird situation because it is also bridging on near totalizing conspiracy peddling. these people think the NYT is being actively misleading in calling Jewish supremacism a subset of Zionism when they themselves admit that's what Ben Gvir et al believe.
Over on Twitter a litany of Israeli Jewish and right wing American Jewish columnists are up in arms because the NYT Daily Podcast interviewed Raja Shehadeh, who dared to say the banal fact that there exists a state backed movement to impose religious supremacy over the entirety of the land

The US-Israel relationship has never been conditionalized upon Israel's behavior towards Palestinians and so it's genuinely disorienting to Israelis and (some) American Jews that more liberals than ever think it should. This is the underlying schism that will drive center left policy on the issue.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

will also add - yes, this is my personal crusade - that turning podcasts into videos implicitly asks women to once again make more effort than men, as the bar for "camera-ready" for one gender is obviously higher than for the other

this is the simple answer to people who keep saying NATO expansion matters. Sure, it matters because it presented an obstacle to Russian imperial ambitions. Putin didn't invade because he hated NATO expansion, he hated NATO expansion because he wanted to invade

As a Jew, it’s fun watching the administration post Christian nationalist messages while also saying they are doing everything they can to curb antisemitism.
Here’s the U.S. government being officially religious in a country with no official religion.

we looked, but could not find this recently-started organization.
Lisa Strauss, a leader in the local Jewish community who recently helped start Jewish Women Vote Houston, said that Talarico’s comments are “very disappointing.”

Art Pronin also opposed the HCDP resolution pulling future endorsement of John Whitmire because it was devisive. 🙃
Art Pronin, who leads the Meyerland Area Democrats Club, a largely Jewish Democratic group in the Houston area, told JI he’s known Talarico for years. Pronin has repeatedly expressed concerns to Talarico directly and to the campaign about his Israel rhetoric, to little effect.
