At SNL I worked with artists who made the funniest, stupidest graphics in no time flat. Some of my biggest jokes would have been impossible without these geniuses building an insane image or finding the perfect real-life photo of a politician. Sucks that their work is being pushed aside for slop.

i believe people when they say linux has gotten better in the last few years. what i'm skeptical of is that linux Guys have improved. i will not use an OS where i'm at high risk of someone calling me stupid for not liking some aspect of the experience. i must be allowed to hate the computer

Ultimately most people just conflate comfort while speeding with a skill that conveys safety, and experience any suggestion that speeding is inherently dangerous as an attack on personal accomplishment. And that’s what makes speeding so dangerous

someone had a medical incident in the last big fight scene of pacific rim 2 and they had to stop the movie. people were complaining how bad the movie was while filing past a lady getting cpr

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

again, ignition interlocks are one of those things where there basically *really is* a technological solution to the problem that greatly mitigates that tradeoffs, and it's a policy failure that they aren't mandatory for five years after your first DUI.
