John Brown did no wrong.
The Boston Tea Party was political violence.
Stonewall was a riot.

In case I somehow reach anyone with views that a civil war in the US would be acceptable or winnable, it is neither. Even if you think you are on the other side you need to understand this. People are still being murdered from the fallout of The Troubles.
The Troubles were a civil war and exactly what we'd get with a population 220 times larger.
I once went through a list of 7 or 8 languages to try to talk at all to a kid with a Green Beret. None successful

What? The organization created as a knee jerk reaction with wildly broad powers and minimal oversight needs some reform?
Anyway the best messaging is probably to gear it at DHS writ large, because the whole department has got to go

If you are Queer and / or someone who served during DADT or before, you should watch this.

LoL, lmao even
Canadian multimillionaire and Shark Tank guy Kevin O'Leary went on TV to say he's upset Zohran won't talk to him: "I and others who invest in real estate have tried to get a meeting to figure out what's rhetoric and what's policy. So far for me it's been crickets."

I was not very openly bisexual until my current relationship. He can make me melt with words. I struggle to keep from looking at him, I have nearly been hit by cars. Folks, I might actually love this man.

Jesus. They incapacitated themselves and retreated on foot.

I was in combat on behalf of this country. That is so far outside my experience. I can't even describe how much these people are not and will never be my brothers.
Here's what that looked like. Tactical excellence.

Pretty blatant violation of the 4th and maybe the 5th amendment.
According to reports, ICE officers are being told to trust the results of a faulty facial recognition app over evidence of citizenship.

The Trump administration is steamrolling our due process and privacy rights to support its mass deportation agenda.

Photos captured by Mobile Fortify will be stored for 15 years, regardless of immigration or citizenship status, the document says.

Bravo to space.com for this deeply reported, lengthy piece.

Depressing, but a shocking thing is Goddard is using the shutdown to order moves out of lab and engineering spaces on 2-3 days notice, requiring major equipment to just be left behind and demolished

I'm pro-union because I think workers should organize to balance the power that business owners have in various negotiations. It's true that unions have been weakened, but it's not because of multiculturalism. I would argue, it's because people seek to exploit divisions for their material interests.

The worst part of moving back to the US is that I can hear and understand everything you say. I really miss when people around me spoke in a different language when they weren't talking to me.
there are very few things that are genuinely a litmus test for intelligence, but getting mad at hearing other languages is on the very short list
