Just finished up at the Evanston No Kings rally. It was safe, peaceful, and a show of solidarity by *at least* 1,000 people.

Go to your local protest. Don’t let this administration scare you. Stand with your community when our leaders won’t.

The median number of Measles deaths among children in the US for the last 50 years has been 0.

That's the benchmark. ANY more is a failure of policy. Bobby is currently a failed Secretary.

You cannot yadda-yadda the life of a child that should not die.
RFK Jr talking about the need for doctors to know how to treat measles for those who are unvaccinated.

“Only very sick kids should die from measles.”

No. They shouldn’t. That was the point of the vaccine. We eradicated the virus so children didn’t die.

Sick & disabled kids are not expendable!

Due process is the process through which you are determined to be guilty of a crime. Not advocating for due process is to love injustice. Loving injustice is evil.

NEW: A federal judge raised alarm Friday that the Trump administration appeared to have deported a 2-year-old U.S. citizen to Honduras with "no meaningful process" — even as her father was fighting to keep her in the country.

Folks, a lot of you are making predictions that assume that nothing ever happens or changes, it's all ceritus paribus even if the President goes insane and declares a trade war on the whole wide world at once.
Meanwhile, all the actual barometric readings are weird.

Having exausted all other options — having seen all other defenses fail — all our hopes for being rescued from one of the most deranged and stupid national leaders in history now rest with the highest and final authority in this country: the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

The American Evangelical church is nothing like the way of Jesus.

& that’s becoming more & more clear to more & more people.

Let the dead bury the dead:
We’re resurrection people.

& I see the new life of the Kingdom sprouting up all around us. 🌱 🕊️ 🙏

I wonder if that creates a disadvantage…they are so cartoonishly evil it is almost hard to believe.
Def indicative of my US enculturation, but when it came time to oppose fascists I was hoping they’d be badass intimidating villains, but instead it’s adult dweebs cosplaying at what their malformed perpetually fermented teenaged brains think is “cool” & “manly” in hopes of finally being respected.+

Not a dispensationalist but growing up in that stream…I am dismayed at how many who are do not see the parallels in this hour of how Trump embodies everything they said the Anti-Christ would be.

If you understand that apartheid was an economic system first, and a brutally violent system of social segregation second, you'll understand how Elon Musk is trying to update the principles from his homeland, and bring about a neo-apartheid system in the US.

Elon Musk’s Vision Is Coming Into Focus—And It Looks a Lot Like Neo-Apartheid
Apartheid was, first and foremost, a business plan—one that the South African-born Musk seems to be reworking for the modern age.

This period under Musk/Trump feels like early February in 2020—when a terrible thing was happening with breakneck speed, and the people paying close attention were hair-on-fire about it while the rest of the country carried on as normal.

This is not political. This is Kingdom business.

If as a church leaders, we have told ourselves that we would have been brave enough to hold the Gospel cleanly though at the edge of the sword at pivotal points in history, now is our time to prove it.

these sorts of laws are almost always being pushed by guys who can't be bothered to crack the spine of a Bible themselves. not to sound overly cringe or lib, but actually reading the Bible radicalizes you into the kind of person the Texas State Board of Education wants driven from society.
The ruling class knows their survival depends on indoctrinating the next generation, which is why they're forcing archaic religious texts like the Bible into classrooms to suppress any critical thought and reinforce obedience.

1. I reiterate that I don't think bots/trolls get how comprehensive the "block" function here is.

2. I also think they don't quite get how prevalent "don't engage, just block" is as an ethos here.
